
Xj3D Version M10 Released |

Seattle, WA—July 06, 2004—Xj3D.org and Yumetech, Inc. is proud to announce the M10 release of Xj3D. This release features installers for Windows, Linux and MacOS X platforms. In addition, the following X3D components have been implemented:

You can download Xj3D from www.web3d.org/x3d/applications/xj3d/ Participants:Yumetech, Inc. is experienced in both software and 3D graphics content development. It manages over one-half million lines of open source code and has successfully completed several projects based on this code. Yumetech is the leading contributor to the Xj3D Toolkit: an open source implementation of the X3D and VRML 97 specifications. This codebase is the sample implementation for the X3D specification for standardization purposes. Two of the company's members were major contributors to the X3D specification and currently serve on the X3D Specification Team. Yumetech is also a major contributor to the development of Java 3D software development libraries. It oversees the development of the J3D.org community web site. This site is the premier repository of open source software development libraries for Java 3D, and has been featured by Sun Microsystems at several conferences. |
